Getting its a** kicked by God's Not Dead

God's Not Dead is only at 780 theaters while Tyler Perry's latest assault on humanity opened in 1896 theaters. Yet the daily totals for God's Not Dead are kicking this one out of the ball park.

Conclusions: Draw your own.

Maybe God's Not Dead is just more controversial and is attracting attention for that reason.

Maybe God doesn't like Tyler Perry movies.

Maybe people are just tired of his stupid movies.

I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with GND being a better movie

Number of votes for Single Mom's Club: just over 730

Number of votes for God's Not Dead: over 2600

OP votes on either movie: N/A

Ever think that each movie is going after seperate and distnct audiences? I do, and the audience for God's Not Dead based on box office numbers for one weekend happen to be bigger. Big whoop. Weren't there two other movies opening last weekend? And which week is Single Mom's Club in?

And as for the votes for each movie, 4.6/10 isn't much better than 3.3/10. Just sayin'.

I encourage you from time to time, and always in a respectful manner, to question my logic.

This movie, week 1: $9.8 mill
This movie, week 2: $3.1 mill

God is Dead, week 1: $9.2 mill

Looks like this movie is winning.
But they are both flops and will be out of theaters very soon.

Both these films are crappy, god's not dead is insultingly crappy.

Fanboy : a person who does not think while watching.

1) Both movies, in fact all movies, go after a profit, no matter what the audience is.
2) Single Mom's Club grossed less than $16 million in 3 months.
3) God's not dead has grossed over $60 million and as of July 9th was still playing in 60 theaters.
4) I like that definition of "fanboy"

Not the bees! Not the bees!
