i missed that part in the trailer, anyone seen this yet? is it an apocalypse movie ?

There is a few glimpses. Kind of reminds me of the Postman with kevin Costner.

Can anyone shed light on the OP's question? It looks like modern times but the descriptions call in a post-apocalyptic, presumably future setting. Was there a nuclear war? A terrorist attack? An economic meltdown? Everything in this world looks pretty much the same as 2016.
