The studio has positioned Shia LaBeouf for an Oscar nomination. It's time. He's entering the prime of his career in his 30's and with Leonardo DiCaprio in his 40s now, the powers that be want someone to take over & be the "it" guy. This movie will launch him into a new category as an actor to be reckoned with.

Whoa! Calm down mate. I have no doubt the performance is going to be great by Shia, but an Oscar is a big stretch. He's still young and has great potential no doubt.
