It's like a Christmas TV series made by Tarantino. The extreme violence+cinematography+decent acting+surreal animated creature.

It's cute, it's extremely violent and it's all rather surreal. There's no doubt that this is one of the most original shows out there.

I now don't get why a TV network doesn't produce fables' type of show - which also features all of these traits - though there's a lot more heavy and dark drama. I think that show, if made as well as this one, would destroy the game of thrones in terms of ratings.

I agree, I love this show, so unique, funny and violent. Christopher Meloni is brilliant as Sax.

This and the End of the Fucking World are the best two shows that have come out in recent years and they're both totally totally original.

I've just started watching another show called 'future man' - surprisingly it's also pretty funny/violent - though it's more of a weird terminator-like film with plenty of humor.

Never heard of Future Man before, but it looks like a show i might enjoy. I'm gonna try to seek it out. Thanks!

Hmmm - only the first few episodes of future man were decent, then it quickly went downhill - so I'll have to retract my recommendation :(

That's too bad. I'll still check it out whenever I get the chance. There aren't too many shows around that can hold my attention anyway.

My only problem with this great show was the airing schedule. As soon as Christmas is over i'm done with it. This carrying on after the fact was annoying.
