why did nick sax want to kill the 3 mobsters

Why did nix kill off the 3 mobsters in the first show which became 4 when the baby brother showed up? Any speculation on what this password really does?

reply

He didn't just "want to." Nick Sax was a hit man. Blue paid him to kill his own nephews.

reply

I'll have to rewatch that. The apperence of the show made it seem like Nick Sax put out the hit on him self as a trap to get the 3 mobsters to be in the same location at once. IE the 3 mobsters was responding to the hit Nick Sax put out on himself.

reply

Yes, he did. That trap was how he got the job done for Blue (i.e. killing the brothers, not killing himself). It also comes up again later that Blue had the three brothers killed
when Isabella (Blue's sister) confronts him about it
. ^^^ Using spoilers in case you haven't finished the series.

Ok I do recall that now. The 3 brothers were some how targeted by blue I'm guessing so he could take over and not share power with the family. So what is the "password" which unlocks a list of names. Is it a demon that passes through words cause that part of the show never go explained.

We saw some supernatural activity in the show.

1) A flying magic unicorn.
2) Alien dildo head looking creatures that bleed green when peirced
3) A possible demon that transports hosts via magical words (A password)
4) The baby brother that returned from italy even says there are demons in the world that look like regular people.

Yes, there's more that presumably would be explained in further seasons and/or issues (or volumes) of the comic. Regarding number 1, it would be nice to know how an imaginary friend can still be called imaginary after introducing itself to another person. Sounds like one of those teaser details they save for when a series is nearly finished though. For right now, I'm actually really curious if he's back with Amanda, and what happens next with the "demons" you mention. No doubt Nick will be involved, and maybe that priest that ran away, too.

I figured the "imagenary" friends are actually guardian angels misunderstood even to them selves. The thing I don't get is why they supposedly die when their current host dies. If they can transfer from person to person then they should be independent of their hosts. I'll have to order the comic. I knew there was a comic available but I coulden't tell which media was the source material. if you look up happy comic on google you'll see comic images titled "chrisopher meloni patton oswalt: Happt" that threw me off into thinking the TV show was the source.

I can't really wait for season too so I'm picking up the comic to see how much further it explains the plot.

Interesting. I actually chose to watch this because of the premise + the fact it was produced by Grant Morrison. I used to read Morrison's The Invisibles, and one or two other things he did. He has a tendency to delve into (likely hallucinogen-inspired) flights of fancy and to play around with what I'm going to call "pop spiritualism." I say the above in a completely neutral sense, by the way. If you like his stuff you like it (and I did too), if you don't you don't. So anyway, with that in mind, I imagine they'll have some kind of metaphysical explanation for the imaginary friends, but I don't know when that might happen.
