shareThe book has a deeply problematic issue with a character making predatory moves on a minor. That was major part of the sorry I had an issue with. As the director he was just adapting the book. Having read the novel I can say he toned it down quite a bit. If you were talking about Victor Salva, I would agree with you 100%.
