Not a bad movie
Just not a patch on the original. I thought Vincent D'Onofrio and Haley Bennett were interesting but everyone else suffered in comparison to the original cast. Which I think was to be expected really.
shareIt’s one of those remakes that is actually pretty solid. I would also mention Peter Sarsgaard playing a good villain.
But yeah, it was simply dwarfed by the original film’s iconic status.
