How does this cast line up with the 1960 cast?

How could your watching one movie spoil another? You must be a young person. I have heard so many young people offer that statement. I am not trying to tell you what to do, but I don't buy into that idea that a poor remake (or sequel) will ruin a film I like. To me, if anything, it will make me appreciate the original film even more.
Personally, I like both versions for what they are. But my personal favorite is the 1960 version, as it is yours obviously.
You can't beat the swagger of Brynner and the cool of McQueen.

The cast in this is good. I didn't like Pratt. The rest were fine, though they don't have the charisma of the original cast.

I agree with Magicdave on this aside from liking the 2016 version. I don't think it's worth a watch, but two others I've read today like it. So, I'm in the minority here and I'll say listen to them and let us know what you think.
