An EMPTY FILM with people shooting at other people in bloodless ways

This is exactly what this is.

You're gonna see a lot of shootouts, but pathetic ones, the kind of shootouts that puts you to sleep. The characters? You won't care about them.

They probably don't even recharge their guns in this, they have like 100 bullets in their gun. Nobody smokes, nobody swears, quite pathetic.

Full of quick-cut edit and bloodless shootouts, they're gonna be invincible you won't see anything since they need to hide the violence, no blood at all. Full of fury but no heart.

Why would you want to see people shooting at each other in a PG13 movies? There's no point...

It's like watching a PG13 Rambo. If you support this, you're the enemy of cinema and because of YOU, more remakes will come, until they remake your favorite movie.

Do the right thing. BOYCOTT.

reply

Lol your boycott is not working.

reply

Lol your boycott is not working.

I never quit. I won't, until they all flop. It can only help to make the remakes under-perform.

Who knows maybe people indeed boycotted but a lot of little dumb insect like you actually paid to see it 

Actually, it flopped though, the budget is 90 Million + marketing which is like 75 Million.

It needs about 300 Million to break even, won't make that much....Will be out of top 5 next week or thw week after..

reply

Your incorrect accounting figures are as your ridiculous assertion that all action films need to be rate R. Pure nonsense.

Oh....and calling someone an insect for enjoying a movie....really adult of you. Classy.

reply

Someone has to take a stand, you have no balls, little rat.

reply

I get it.....I'm wasting my time debating a petulant child (like in, LITERALLY a child.) Well....I'll just do the adult thing and put you on ignore.

Goodbye.

reply

You're obviously a studio plant and a dumb one.

reply

Yes we are plants because we grew up watching westerns that the majority are PG rated. Get a grip. And mgm/ sony are very happy with its performance in the first week.

reply

Oh my God....an action film that doesn't include gratuitous blood, guts, and gore?

What a disappointment......not!

reply

Yeah, it's just a big shootout. Nothing more.

reply

They do reload. It's not a Steven Segal movie. lol Respect to the guy but he hardly ever reloads.

they're gonna be invincible you won't see anything since they need to hide the violence

Some of them die. One gets shot with arrows multiple times, inclusive of through the hand(which you do see) before he sits down and just dies.

Full of fury but no heart.

Even though I like this movie I could see this as a valid complaint honestly.

until they remake your favorite movie.

Well robocop was one of my favorite movies. The remake was terrible. Dredd was also another one I liked as a kid but the Remake was better to me as the original when watching as an adult honestly was not that good.

Evil dead is to this day one of my all time favorite horror movies. The Remake wasn't bad actually. I was shocked I went in expecting a horrible movie.

However

I do agree hollywood needs to stop making so many remakes and do more original movies.

I've baited my hook with my own underwear. Is it wrong that I hope to catch a fish I can relate to?-Ragdoll.

reply

Dredd wasn't a remake of the Stalone film. Judge Dredd is a character in comics been around since the 70's. Dredd was just another film based on that character.

"Don't you hear that horrible screaming all around you? That screaming men call silence."

I've known about the comic, but I honestly figured that the newer one was a remake. Same way I gathered that the Punisher Warzone was a remake of a remake. Just because it's all based off the comic losely or not does not cause it to be exempt from being called what it is: A remake. It's just a remake of a movie based on a comic.

No it isn't. That is entirely incorrect.

Dredd was an original film based on the character from the comics. Other than the character it didn't have one single similarity to the Stalone film.

By your logic Skyfall is a remake of Dr.No.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dredd

Dredd is a 2012 science fiction action film directed by Pete Travis and written and produced by Alex Garland. It is based on the 2000 AD comic strip Judge Dredd and its eponymous character created by John Wagner and Carlos Ezquerra.

unrelated to the 1995 film Judge Dredd,

John Wagner acted as a consultant on the film.[37] In 2012, he confirmed that it was a new adaptation of the comic material and was not a remake of the 1995 adaptation Judge Dredd, which starred Sylvester Stallone.[23]

Even given all of this I stand by my statement.
Feel free to think it's entirely incorrect and that you have educated me though so that your day may go smoother.

Its not exactly intelligent when told an inescapable truth, even proven with quotes from the filmmakers, to stand by a falsehood.

Its not like its really important or anything, I was just correcting an incorrect statement, and rather than just saying thanks for the info or something, you are arguing when you are very clearly wrong. You carry on believing something wrong if you like, makes no difference to me, I have pointed out your error, that's all there is to it.

There was blood.

You're gonna see a lot of shootouts, but pathetic ones, the kind of shootouts that puts you to sleep. The characters? You won't care about them.

The action was actually pretty great and on par with westerns of old.

They probably don't even recharge their guns in this, they have like 100 bullets in their gun. Nobody smokes, nobody swears, quite pathetic.

There was a lot of scenes of people reloading, but you wouldn't know since you didn't actually watch the movie. Also there were at least ten people smoking throughout you dolt.

Full of quick-cut edit and bloodless shootouts, they're gonna be invincible you won't see anything since they need to hide the violence, no blood at all. Full of fury but no heart.

Who needs to see gallons of blood? They didn't have that in all of the old westerns. You do understand that directors sometimes make choices to pay homage to the days of your right? Were you hoping for decapitations? People being drawn and quartered? Have you watch the original movie? This wasn't supposed to be another 3:10 to Yuma.

Why would you want to see people shooting at each other in a PG13 movies? There's no point...

You saw bullets hitting, arrows sticking, and people dying. Do yourself a favor manly man, go watch some videos of people getting shot in real life, it's not exactly what you see in the movies now is it?

It's like watching a PG13 Rambo. If you support this, you're the enemy of cinema and because of YOU, more remakes will come, until they remake your favorite movie.

Mag 7 was never supposed to be an R rated gore fest muchacho.

Do the right thing. BOYCOTT.
& IGNORE VINNI & BURNEM888!

You are what you choose to be. You choose. Choose.

reply

"Sh!t" was spoken in some instances, mostly by the Chris Pratt character.

Plenty of the characters smoked (and drank).

The body count was in the "I think I've lost count" level.

Why do they give out letter jackets to marching band? It's not a sport! We all know it!
