Very. Scarface was a remake of the far superior film of the same name that came out in 1932. Deathwish isnt a safe film. Could easily be remade anfmd still be effective today.

Agree, the 1932 Scarface with Paul Muni was far superior indeed to the bloody sadistic Al Pacino remake--Remaking it again is incredibly stupid, and looking at the cast, it will totally bomb--Also agree that the Death Wish remake could actually work, since Bruce Willis is in the lead, and the revenge/vigilante theme still has a lot of appeal to moviegoers

I haven't heard about the Deathwish,but from looking it will bomb. They want a High Noon with Chris Pratt and Margot Robbie in it. A modern day time thing for it.

One day when and if you watch it you will understand its a solid movie. Its not as good as the original but i dont think that was their goal in making it. Its 100% pure entertainment

Yeah but the worst thing is that modern remakes are actually worse than the originals and brings nothing to the table.
