Every bad guy was killed
I mean, no one escaped and not even one of them was left wounded. Thats pretty amazing taking into account that in the Civil War most soldiers survived even in the bloodiest battles.
I guess taken care of the wounded bad guys was not tolerable . They seemed pretty fannatical fighting to the end for a few dollars.
