He's a decent actor with great charisma. But how did he land the leads in Guardians of the Galaxy and Jurassic World? 5 years ago he was just Anna Faris' husband and being the fat guy on Parks and Rec. Suddenly he gets supporting roles in Zero Dark Thirty and Moneyball and he's a huge star.

Also, nobody knew how big Guardians was going to be when he was given the lead, but he crushed it, now everyone wants him in their movies cause he makes bank!

shareProbably not the reason they went, but a big part of the reason they went back too see them again. Especially for GOTG, he was fantastic in that. I have no idea why people went back to see JW, it was awful, and he was dull in it.

That's all. I like him from Parks and Rec as he was the well built chubby guy who acted the fool. He got ripped for Zero Dark 30 which must suck for him because it's a lot of work. He isn't good at playing anyone but Chris Pratt. I'm OK with that. He's funny.
he was the perfect cast for star lord. Non better suited than him. He has the comedy capabilities and the body.
Jurrasic World was just awful and he was part of that. This movie deserves to be burnt. Awful, probably the worst of them all.
He is perfect for roles like Magnificent seven and Guardians of the galaxy. And guardians is in its own right the best marvel movie to date. He is one reason why.
