Anyone See This in Berlin?

Credits list actor Moritz Bleibtreu as Klimt, but in the version I saw yesterday, there was no scene with Klimt long enough for me to even recognize him (and since I thought Moritz Bleibtreu was wonderful in MY BEST ENEMY in 2011, I think I would have recognized him right away if I had seen him on screen).

So I'm curious to know if there was once a longer version of this film & if yes, if the Klimt character played more of a role than he does now. FYI, the version I saw yesterday (runtime 109 minutes) opens this week in major American markets. THANKS.

He only appeared during the first two minutes or less of the film. He brushed some gold leaf onto the painting, asked Adele to move a little to the left, and asked why she seemed restless. That was it. He was barely seen, and his face really mostly obscured even when he was on screen.

Wonder what was left on the cutting room floor...? THANKS, Jan
