Where does Maria fly out to when she escapes Austria???

I read later it was Liverpool? But for some reason I thought they said Cologne in the movie???
Does anyone know???

She and her husband flew to Cologne, Germany, which is very near the Dutch border. I wondered 'why Cologne' and did a search. From Cologne, she and her husband made their way across the Dutch border, and eventually lived in Liverpool, until Jews began to be treated badly in that part of the UK, and they moved to the USA.

Thank you... I THOUGHT I heard Cologne, Germany but it did not make sense to go into the wasp nest !?!?
