Necklace?
What happened to the necklace? I can't remember if they ever discussed its whereabouts in the movie, but in real life, what happened to it?

They discussed its whereabouts. There was a scene where that Austrian who helped them was listing several of her family's possessions and what happened to them. He verbally says an SS officer gave the necklace to his wife, and then they have the visual of her wearing it at some public event. Helen Mirren's character says, "I'm not sure I want to hear this."

Yes, but SINCE then, what happened to it?
shareUncle Ferry's Klimt paintings and Altmann's diamond earrings and necklace were seized that way. Researcher Lillie recently found that the forfeited jewels later were bought by Hermann Goering, Adolf Hitler's top deputy. Altmann got them back after Goering was captured by the Allies in 1945.
Oh wow. Thank you!
