When it comes time for the academy awards I hope they do not overlook this film. I finally rented this film and watched it and was blown away. It was a film that was given a lot of PR and wasn't really hidden from the public but for some reason I just didn't find the time to see it. Woman in Gold is really a work of art and an Amazing story. At times very sad and others uplifting. What a Gem this was. I would recommend this movie to anybody who likes great stories and even more great films !!

The list speaks for itself . I know that they probably will not even nominate it for a thing and there's yet to be any great films out this year but this certainly is an early favorite. This film could have came out a bit later for more recognition but honestly who cares. It really is an amazing story and one that I'm glad was told very well.

Good list except the French Connection is better than the last picture show, and so deserved it's award IMO.

Don't worry, Harvey Weinstein will make sure that it isn't forgotten with his usual subtle diplomacy.

Both are good movies but I agree. Also The Godfather II is also a worthy but close winner over The Convesation but at least Coppola has claim to both anyway.
Holocaust movie = Oscar front runner. Just ask Kate Winslett and Ricky Gervais.
