Decent movie, why do reviews have to say the best or the worst ever?

Really nothing wrong with this movie- probably won't be the greatest thing you've ever seen, but good performances and done with just enough tongue in cheek to make it not boring.

Watching Richard E Grant made me want to go and watch Withnail again; one of my late brother's favourite films, so I'll introduce my girlfriend to it tomorrow.

Neither of us recognised Emilia Clarke, I quite like that dong she played with her band. Great soundtrack too- if I'd just got out of Prison and heard Primal Scream's "Rocks" playing quietly in a pub, I'd react in pretty much the same way.

Some folks just don't have the capabilities to distinguish good films, this had it's flaws, but was still an entertaining film. Just feel sorry for those who can only see films on a 1/10 or a 10/10 level, those saps don't even have the right to call themselves film fans.

Richard Grant's character was a classic and he was a big help in containing his friend Dom from going off the deep end, great performance by him.

And idk how anyone who's watched Jude Law a dozen times before cannot appreciate his bearded transformation into Dom, a fine performance that I believe he had a blast in doing so.

It's not the finest nor anywhere near the worst film, but those faux fans that have absolutely nothing else in their empty heads to make proper comparisons to will
shout it out in message boards everywhere in their ignorant stupidity, then when you call them on it they disappear(see my other thread)

Completely agree. Not the best/worst, better than average and quiet fun.

Law was excellent though the character became a bit annoying...well shot and great sets/costume :)
