It felt like just an excuse to showcase an absurd character that lacked any real depth. The story was weak and when it finally started to get going, the film shifts gears and becomes an entirely different movie and even worse than it was before. Jude Law was fantastic, but that's really the only good thing about this movie.

Sorry to hear that...the trailer looked good. I won't see it in the theater because of your bad review, but I will probably get it on Redbox for $1.20 just because I'm still curious. I'm seeing Draft Day today though.

I completely agree. It seemed to change direction halfway through with the focus on the father/daughter storyline which completely dragged the film down.

It's barely worth a rental. I mean, it's not BAD imo. It just wasn't that great to me either. Felt they could have went a lot further with the plot.
Ya I agree. I liked the first half of the movie and then it turned into this preachy father daughter story about him reforming. The second half ruined the movie for me. 3/10
