Jude's Best Acting Ever!

I've been a longtime Jude Law fan. I have every movie with him. Every one, from the obscure to the very popular. This performance as Dom Hemingway is the most bravest and best acting role he's ever done!
It reminded me of 'A Clockwork Orange' , but more of a tear jerker.
Rarely has Law made me weep in a role , 'Cold Mountain' he does as W.P. Inman. Here is Law's acting tour de force in this film!
Forget about the weight gain and the rotting teeth, he mentally and emotionally captures this character in all its gut wrenching glory!
He is an acting marvel.You almost forget you're watching Jude Law - he IS Dom!!
This movie proves Law to be one of the best character actors out there today! Bravo Jude!

I agree, the acting was phenomenal, and I'm normally not a fan of his.

I agree too Potpurry7 and bmoviebimbo. Jude Law acting in Dom Hemingway was phenomenal. I hope the Academy suprise us and show some Oscar love for his performance.

i met jude outside the noel coward theatre last November when he was on stage in henryV..he was phenomenal. I told him then that his performance was Oscar worthy and that I would write to the academy to consider his performance. he laughed and said you're going to petion the academy for me? sweet man. for me his portrayal of dom hemingway is as good as his hamlet on stage. he is a bloomin' wonder. ...great actor and what a face.just beautiful.

Absolutely agree !!! Jude Law really surprised me here. Not the biggest fan normally but man this was great. People might say he over did it but that was the whole point.
Dom is arrogant, loud, selfobsorbed, he selfpity himself and has delusion of granduer.
He`s suppose to be like that. Thats his character. So when someone says that he over did
it that just means he did a good job.

I loved this movie. It`s different, funny(as hell), has great acting and has one of the hottest woman I have ever seen in it. Madalina Diana Ghenea.

Give it a try.
