At the end of the film I can't tell if Dom is simply happy because he was able to get the wedding ring off of Paulina or if he planned on following her in order to get the rest of his money back. Your thoughts?
shareWell that looked like an expensive piece of jewellery so i think he was happy cause the amount he'll make by selling it might make up for a big fraction of what he lost.

It's possible he can get the equivalent of what he lost with the ring - either by selling it (what a rock!) or by selling it back to her *if* it was given her by that rich guy and its loss would lose her him. i.e. it could be used to blackmail her to return whatever she's got left, as an alternative to selling it.
Wonder what he does with the money?!
No way that rock was worth a million pounds. I would think about 100k.

It was just a something for him to stay alive.
He'd already vowed to turn his life over, getting some money for the ring would allow him to do just that. If he'd wanted more he could have gotten more - as it was, it was a nice little earner.
