I miss the great actor, Nicolas Cage. You know, the guy that was in such classics as Raising Arizona, Leaving Las Vegas, Lord of War, Matchstick Men, Adaptation, Face / Off, Con Air, The Rock, The Family Man, City of Angels, It Could Happen to You and even Trapped in Paradise. I can't even recognize him anymore, doing these sh!t films.

Well he isn't going to make any money if he keeps doing these kinds of crap films. He needs to try comedies and drama's again and stick with them. Thank God he is doing the runner it sounds like it might be good? What he needs to do is pass on the stupid crap films where his kid is always getting kidnapped and pull an oscar role off again but I fear it may be to late for him and he doesn't give a crap that's what I hate.
I love him as a person he seems like a nice guy and all I guess and I love most of his 80's and 90's and early 2000's work but after that not so much. I have been a fan for a very long time of his. I wish they had released Joe after this piece of crap film and not before now it just looks like he isn't trying again.
I like him still and always will but I understand what you are saying believe me.

I think Nic Cage put himself in so much debt (he has a serious spending habit) that he HAS to do pretty much every movie anyone wants him to do. I hope he pulls a McCounaghey and turns his career around and starts acting in good *beep*
Also I just finished watching this movie. Oh my god. Awful. 1 star.
Don't forget Red Rock West. One of my favorite Nick Cage films. With Dennis Hopper as an added bonus.
I never really bought Nicolas Cage as an action star. Ok, except for Kick-Ass. I thought he was great as Big Daddy.

I was reading other message boards about Rage and someone mention that this is one of his films that were left over from a couple of years ago? I hope so and then we can maybe hope he starts doing better movies.
I just don't understand why he keeps picking these action movies or whatever the hell they are. Did he make someone mad in Hollywood or what? Because he hardly ever stars with the big actors anymore or big movie companies and it's sad.
It's like Hollywood finally turned there back on him. Well, The Croods was released by a big movie company but still what the hell is he doing?
It's pretty sad that comedian actors like Adam Sandler, Will Ferrell and others still get big movies or star in them. It's like they own Hollywood but no one hardly likes them but they can do no wrong because they are still headlining big movies and Nicolas can hardly do that anymore.
He is going to have to start picking better roles or he is going to be finished in Hollywood if he isn't already? He needs to get his audience back and headline films again and not do these straight to video movies that just make him look bad.
He even gets pissed off about it but he isn't helping himself.
