...taken outside to die? I imagine if I were about to fall out after shooting myself, I really wouldn't give a *beep* where I was as long as I could close my eyes.

I think that's where her son died so it kinda makes sense

Probably the best explanation. Otherwise, I'd have just laid up in the kitchen wondering how the stain was going to come out of that gown.

My first thought was that maybe she didn't want to make too much mess on the floor, but I guess it was a bit late for that! I think it may have been so she could see all the creepy red lights. I did wonder though, how come the door was suddenly unlocked for them to take her outside?
