This is an incredibly well executed film from start to finish. The unease slowly builds to an almost unbearable level that pays off with the brutal truth of what was really going on.

You really feel like you're in the mindset of the main protagonist throughout. You feel his paranoia, grief and self doubt. The ending avoids getting silly too which I love. I was waiting for that cliche of a bad guy supposedly being mortally wounded and then surprising everyone by jumping up for one last attempt at carnage. I'm so glad they avoided that. I thought the little red lamp twist at the end was effective too.

I agree but the Hate for this Film is Palpable. I am a Horror Fan and have seen films like this but never quite like this! I loved it!

What was the pay off with the brutal truth of what was really going on? I have no clue what you're on about, this movie is awful IMO, but i'd love to know what the brutal truth is?.... That it was a cult thing? Wow that wasnt painfully obvious the second a character mentioned it....

The fact that it was happening all around them and not just confined to them.

You thought the movie was awful and I didn't. Each to their own.

I was waiting for that too, but SO GLAD they did not do it. It's almost too expected at this point in films.

I think the dialogue and direction were thoughtful and suspenseful, but the film fell apart a bit at the end by turning from psychology to action. Still. it's well worth checking out. 7/10 stars from me.
