the black girl survives. out of all the countless horrors (wouldn't call this a horror but its classed as one), you always have the black person die first. was happy to see her survive.

also, was shocked that gay dude survived too, since he felt like a minor character all throughout the movie. that's something else you'd hardly get in a horror

That mindset is so early 00s though. I often see movies where the last survivor is black anymore.

Good point. I thought it was odd that there were no references to race (that I can recall), and little-to-no reference to gays (e.g. jokes/comments about the gay couple).
