'Louie' + 'Wilfred' = 'Legit'
Title self explanatory.
FX seemed to look at their formula and stick to it rigidly. They found another gruff voiced hard living Australian with a warped mind to terrorize a poor shy American. This time it just follows a comedian in the way that "Louie" does. "Legit" even has some of "Louie's" artistic brushes with ironic music cues and surprisingly well put together shots.
If you like FX comedy, "Legit" doesn't jump far from that ship, but that could be a good thing. Between "It's Always Sunny," "Wilfred," "Archer," and "Louie" I think we've learned that FX knows how to do a comedy right and has no fear in letting a comedian run wild with creative control.
The bigger networks could take a cue from FX's hands off mentality. They definitely made a good choice in comics by giving Jim his own show. They guy is naturally funny.
