Did they know it was likely to be cancelled?
The couple episodes especially have the feeling like they knew it would not be renewed... Really enjoyed this show.

shareI read an interview with Jim who said he already had half of season 3 written and that he's evaluating options of making a movie to wrap up the storyline.
shareThat would be awesome... I love the show. Was just watching some eps this eve. Decompressing from traveling-- which I hate.
I enjoy his specials too, but Legit was special. It was rude, provocative, but also endearing.
Yea, that would be sick if he did a movie.
shareBecause it's FX. That's all the reason you need right there.
shareI thought the show was decent and enjoyed watching it, but the networks must've thought it was worthless crap, and if that's the case they should try renewing it over at TBS, from what I've seen All TBS does is air worthless crap (new shows, I enjoy most of tbs' reruns)
shareIt so stupid.. as far as 30 min comedy shows go it's definately top 5... what else is there?
shareThe last episode points towards the producers and Jefferies knowing or strongly suspecting cancellation. The series wraps things up pretty neatly and it doesn't really leave anything for a new season to start upon. A new season would have been new story lines and probably new characters.
Bad films are a crime against humanity.

They had Eric the Actor on an episode. That is the equivalent of signing your own death warrant.
