After seeing this I have only one question.

Why was this movie made?

I want my two hours back....

reply

your not getting your hours back. The movie was made specifically to make you waste two hours.

Rather than posting it here; why not contact the studio that released this film?

I'm amazed that anyone is still using this stupid, tired, wanna be meme/cliche that was never funny or clever in the first place. Did you just buy internets?

I don't love her.. She kicked me in the face!!

You can have your two hours back if you travel back in time and get them. And impregnate yourself while you are at it! Which is a euphemism for...

reply

Travel back in time to prevent yourself from watching it. Duh.

Maybe you could have sex, too.

It was one of the weirdest movies I've ever seen, but it was probably the most interesting and watchable weird movie I've ever seen. The character(s) were strong enough and the acting good enough that I was able to overlook the fact that the concept made little sense. For some reason the movie Fight Club comes to mind, or at least the ending. In any case, I have no regrets watching this movie and definitely think it was worth the time. Hard to say how to rate it, though, but I think the current rating on IMDB of 7.4 is pretty fair. It deserves at least a 7 for effort. Not sure how original the idea is. Like Source Code, if the logic was a bit more coherent, I'd be happy to rate it higher. That's my two cents.

Not sure how original the idea is.

It actually follows the plot of the Robert Heinlein story 'All You Zombies' pretty closely and deals with what is a fairly common time travel idea in SF, which, as others on this board have said, is called the Bootstrap Paradox. It involves a loop in time that has no beginning or end - if Jane/John breaks this loop at any point (say Jane shoots the Barkeep once she knows who she is, then the Barkeep can't go back in time to leave baby Jane outside the orphanage) then history is changed and the loop never happens at all. But where and how did the loop start? Once you accept the notion of time travel, then the whole story line makes sense (sort of). However, if you don't, then none of it does (but then, neither does any story involving time travel in that case).

then you need to see more!

Lol, for me the question was more like "Wtf did I just watch?"

"I'd like to keep Spike as my pet"- Illyria, Angel S. 5
