shareWell technically this film is an adaptation of a 1958 short story called All You Zombies. So the story of Predestination was written a good 39 years before Perversions of Science, just the film was made after.

Sure, the first filmed version of that idea was in the HBO's show. The idea is older than the episode, but to my knowledge no one tried to put it on screen before them.
