Joss Whedon has outdone himself in my opinion. Wow, Age of Ultron is so much better than the first Avengers. I just hope the next few Avengers sequels will be good as this. I dont want to be seen as a Marvel fanboy, but i think DC will have a very hard time catching up to Marvel. Joss Whedon you did it.

I want both Marvel and DC films to be a success, but I'm worried that too many are jumping on the connected universe idea.
At a certain point, it will just be the fans of the material going to see these films, rather than the public at large.
The day that happens we will see less and less comic book movies for a while (probably around 20 years)
OT- The St. Louis Cardinals are being investigated for allegedly hacking a team's internal networks to steal information about player personnel. Shame shame.

shareI don't know. I actually don't get too much involved with behind-the-scenes stuff with movies before they come out. I don't like knowing too much about what I'm willing to go pay $7.50 to see.
I just know that, with regards to the Cardinals/Astros, there was no reason for the Cards to try to steal any ideas from the Astros - who were in the middle of a 111 loss year.
That doesn't mean it was right for the guy to hack the Astros, but I would be interested in finding out if they were using Cardinals proprietary info.
What ever became of that Cardinals thing? MLB swept that under the rug fast. Why didn't the NFL do that with the deflate nonsense?

shareMARVEL’S been on a roll since the record breaking success of Iron Man and it continues to pay off here. And man, does it ever!!!!! Little could we imagine that the Avengers Initiative mentioned at the end of that first Iron Man film could have ever looked like this or been this good! This movie honestly has my vote for film of the year because it lives up to all the hype and all the hope. This film is excellent and entertaining and deserves all the praise it has received and will continue to generate.

Avengers could be the best adventure sequel of the new millennium. Now THAT is living up to the hype.
"Epic" isn't quite the word I'd use. More like slightly bloated. Not crappy-bloated like a Transformers movie, but still with a few too many moving parts. It needs slimming down before it can reach for epic.
