They've been crazy about comic book movies since the first Superman movie came out nearly 40 years ago. In 1989, Batman was a mega-block buster.
X-Men and Spiderman got the things really rolling in the early 2000's, and Batman Begins and Iron Man REALLY kicked things into high gear.
