Spader was FANTASTIC

Whether or not you enjoyed the humor the writers had for Ultron, I imagine most of us who know movies would agree Spader did an absolutely fantastic job in the role. Showed an amount of emotion you would expect from a super-advanced AI, but didn't overdo it. I thought the one-liners, while not Spaders doing, were delivered very well. Can't really decide which movie was better, I would lean towards the first, but I really thought Spader was a great choice for the role, and he played it brilliantly.

I agree. Thought he was incredible.

Everyone was brilliant in their roles, not just Spader. Name one single actor that didn't shine?

How could he not be fantastic? He's James Freakin Spader for heaven's sake.

He's bader than Leroy Brown.

I accept your surrender.

Spader was the best part of the movie to me.

If it's all the same to you, I'll have that drink now.-Loki (Marvel's Avengers)

Has everyone here seen that footage of Spader doing the CGI work for this film that was released today? It must be a preview of the DVD extras.

reply

Agreed, he felt like a real evil AI and not like a guy doing voice acting.

reply

Andy Serkis was on set advising Spader and it showed. Serkis believes this was Oscar worthy stuff.

reply

Yep

reply

Yes, Spader was very good as Ultron.

reply

Too bad Ultron sucked.

reply

Ultron was the definition of awesome. So glad he was there!

reply

They can still use Ultron in future films easy enough. Thanos can download his program to gather the Masters of Evil in Infinity War.
