Avengers vs. X-Men: It CAN happen!

There is talk that 20th. Century Fox and Walt Disney are planning on co-operating in a crossover movie.

If that happens we'll get to see the long-hoped for clash between the Hulk and Wolverine or even Thor and Storm.

But here's a clash most don't think of; Iron Man vs. Magneto.

Round one would go to Magneto as he uses Tony's own suit against him and almost kills him.
But Tony comes back for round two with a plastic and non-ferrous battle-suit and thrashes Magneto and then says (And only Robert Downey could say in his way);

"Just call me Plastic-ma-o-o-on second thought, DON'T!" 

Yeah, Iron Man vs. Magneto would be awesome if Tony has prep time.

I think one day we will see this but not for 20 years or so. It'll take that long for the two companies to need to refresh everything.

I think it'd be hard to make a conflict between the teams that didn't make one or both look like bad guys. I'm inclined to side more with the X-Men and wonder why the Avengers would have such issues against them? Especially a character like the Hulk.

I would be shocked if this ever happened. Marvel Disney doesn't stand to gain nearly as much as Fox would. But I suppose maybe some scenario where Fox gives up the F4 rights and Marvel in turn agrees to give the X-Men a rub in some team-up film.

I don't want the universes merged (so sadly no AvX storyline or anything) but I could see them using this as the time to do a Secret Wars film.

But still, I am not holding my breath.
