i thought this movie was great!

not the best thing ever made, certainly, but i was expecting MUCH worse based on all the comments and reviews.

After awhile you learn which commenters/reviewers you will tend to agree or disagree with.

poor you

i think you may be spreading yourself too thin. Pick a few threads to respond to and commit to them, rather than half-ass trolling a bunch of threads. There's no context or point to what you're saying. Just sloppy trolling.

reply

Those fake hater comments turned out to be ignored by all and in the end, those that saw the film enjoyed it quite a bit. A good lesson here for what is to come over on the Ant-Man board. A few haters will soon flood that page and make it seem like everyone is b*tching but it's just a few anti-Marvel trolls going off with no result in reality at all.

I have to say that it is the best ensemble sequel this side of The Godfather part 2. That really puts it in the land of "the best thing ever made" or at least close enough.

reply

What happened to the poll around here that asked the question what was the better film, Godfather 2, Empire Strikes Back or Avengers Age of Ultron? It was an interesting and close debate.

reply

All the comments and reviews have been spectacular. What have you been reading?

Everything in phase two can be considered great.

These Marvel blockbuster titans have done well and were VERY well received by most of the ruling caste of nerds and those that just like good movies alike. Universal love is strong for these films.

The little blue jug is..DYNAMO!

To think that Captain America Civil War may even be better just boggles the mind.

Maybe as good as tacos and beer!

Home made tacos so they can be low carb!

It is.

It was great wasn't it?

I really enjoyed it too. Not as good or fresh as the first, but I had a lot of fun watching it.

There's hasn't been one movie released this year that I enjoyed more than Age of Ultron. Not a one.

Ant-Man. MI5 and The Martian are worthy runners up, however.

Maybe we'll get a Scarlet Witch and Vision spin off film?

reply

Go look at the bVs board because fans hate that movie but this movie draws praise.

No need to worry about anything else if you're Marvel. Take care of your own business because you're so far on top that only a misstep of your own can send you down that mountain. They have no rivals right now.

I have a feeling that the writing and intelligence of Civil War is going to surprise those that don't know any better. They think this must be a silly "comic book" film and don't realize that the comics are indeed deep, textured and intelligent. This is everything that is complex and cherished in years of quality comic book runs. Joss proved it with Avengers and the Russos are proving it on Cap.

reply

Because it IS a great movie.

reply

Yeah, I thought it was quite good.
