The action-packed flick is a thoroughly entertaining and enjoyable experience. If you're a comic book fan, it's impossible not to love this!
"Avengers: Age of Utron is proof that Marvel can do no wrong, and as they continue to add new players to the table and reshape the world in a way which keeps it feeling exciting and fresh, Warner Bros. and their plans for a DC Cinematic Universe will have to do a lot to come anywhere close to replicating the kind of quality on display here. One thing's for sure regardless: Joss Whedon will be sorely missed, and Earth's Mightiest Heroes won't be the same without him..."

lol I see Uber broke out The old elle-nino sock account...
Just so you know Uber Josh Wilding, The person who gave this review, also Gave IM2 a 5/5 and called 1 of the best CBM's ever...lol
I agree with everything but wishing them luck. I wish them no luck at all.
To bad for you, the majority doesn't agree , THe Majority sees AOU as an average to good movie, Just except it Uber, Stop trying to make people believe AOU is better than it actually is

well they obviously dont need your "luck" Uber, Nolan and DC already have topped AOU with at least 3 movies(Batman Begins,The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises)...Superman 1 and 2,Batman and Batman Returns are most likely also considered better based on the Majority consensus
Uber Just go back to Trolling The Avengers board, at least when you troll there and claim The Avengers is the greatest CBM ever , the facts somewhat back you up.
lol when you try to claim AOU is the best CBM ever, You dont have a leg to stand on, theres not 1 fact you can show that suggests AOU is the best CBM ever(unless you count your 50+ sock accounts that you get on and pretend to be other people with, lol I guess you could point to at least 50 people who agree with you, But unfortunately those 50 people are just YOU)

Angry Bill strikes again! Wahoooooo! Whoever or whatever has him this angry and frustrated, I find it hilarious. The more he posts and tracks the more frustrated he seems to get. Keep up the good work.
It was just kind of meh, not as good as Captain America, or the last Avengers and certainly not as good as Guardians of the Galaxy.
Why do you want Warner Bros to make bad movies? how would that make your life worse? surely you can enjoy both? or at least if Warner make good movies it will drive Marvel to do better as well
You realise your point is a fallacy right? studios do compete. But Marvel and DC have directly comparable product, hence the title of the thread. It didn't say good luck topping this Tarantino did it? So it would be akin to saying why doesn't Rolls Royce inspire GM, that is because they appeal to different demographics and occupy different segments of the market.
Types of movies, that's like saying all motorised vehicles are the same. Different moves are pitched at different audiences, thus having different budgets, marketing strategies and release dates.
DC and Marvel are both making big budget hollywood spectacle blockbusters.
It's amazing that some of you kiddies continue to dismiss the possibility of even the slightest success from the other side, even though MCU continue to rake in cash with its formulaic, crowd-pleasing efforts. Some of you must be awfully insecure about what you convince yourself to embrace.
I didn't even offer an opinion. If I called MCU films formulaic, and crowd-pleasing, it's not really dissing them or anything. It is what they are. It just gets so old to hear some of y'all stead-fastly gritting your teeth and blatantly hoping for WB to fail with their DCU. Why ? Are some of you that insecure ? You must be pre-pubescent or something. I mean, clearly the MCU is a machine that isn't going anywhere anytime soon, and DC is just trying to get their thing going for fans of their characters and the genre. To sit there like a cry-baby, wishing doom upon it ... I mean, it is quite unnecessarily mean-spirited, and most pitiful.
Which is it? Either DC/WB is trying to make money with "crowd-pleasing efforts" like TDK, and TDKR or they are only doing movies which are critically acclaimed, but box office duds such as The Man Of Steel, Green Lantern....
Marvel had everything to lose literally. They started this all on their own far before Disney took notice. Had the Iron Man movie failed, Marvel would have gone under again, this time probably for good.

If Iron Man didn't do the greatest numbers it wouldn't have mattered. No one even expected any of these movies to do as well as they did. Each character had a low valuation based on their comic book numbers. As long as the budget wasn't outrageous, the turn over would have at least paid for the next movie.
WB/DC are using their top tier characters and are spending almost twice as much as Marvel on a single character.
Disney makes a ton of money off of merchandising and of course their own products have always sold well.
