I enjoyed both this and the first "Avengers" movie immensely. I've seen both about 20 times each. I feel that the first one had MANY great memorable lines while this one lacked them. Just off the top of my head I can quote a dozen lines from the first one but struggle to come up with any for this one.
Anyone agree/disagree?

I agree that the first movie had a lot of great lines, but these are some of my faves from AoU.

shareIt wasn't ironic, because he was joking, meaning, he wasn't actually objecting to Rogers' language. You didn't notice the ongoing jokes about swearing everyone was making at Rogers' expense after he said, "Language," to Stark at the beginning of the movie?

My daughter will drag out her bedtime as long as she can. We get to the point where we're ready to strangle her with her pony-tail because of it.
After my son and I saw this movie, I told him, "You are going to hear me in your sister's room saying, 'Go to sleep, go to sleep, go to sleep!', and you'll know EXACTLY what I'm thinking as I'm saying that."
After my wife watched it with us on DVD I said the same thing. Both of them laughed. (Not that we'd actually hit her for not getting to bed on time.)
Ultron: "You're hopelessly naive".
Vision: "Well, I was born yesterday."
The best scene for sure!
