Wow, this was good
Interesting premise, good acting, great use of FX, effective musical score and it was a handsome-looking film.
After watching this and Absentia, I'm totally impressed by Mike Flanagan as a filmmaker ... the guy does some amazing stuff on a low-budget.
I'm marathoning some new horror films and I'd put it ahead of Honeymoon and It Follows, and slightly behind Spring (in terms of my overall enjoyment ... Spring is a pretty "soft" horror). I've still got to watch Housebound and The Babadook
