Why did she stay? She should've taken her kids and gotten away from that drunken loser.

Some women stay and even take part when their daughters raped and their baby boys are beaten to death by a slime ball boyfriend. You get all kinds of excuses but in most cases its water seeking its own level.

The slime ball, drugs, alcohol whatever is more important.

I don't know everything. Neither does anyone else

No offense, but you are applying logic from your perspective to a person that has zero of your experiences. People raised in that environment have a very different way of looking at life and thinking...talk to any social worker. This movie does an excellent job of portraying what it is actually like.
