I felt like it should have been played in a way that this psycho wanted to murder the world and the only thing that was keeping him in check was Spectre. And Bond should have come to realize that the world needs scary organizations like Spectre to keep the other psychos in line, cause at least they have sense of order to things. And it's his job not to take these organizations down, but to police them. Some kind of arc like that. I mean if they were looking to make Craig's movie series one huge origin story, that's kind of what they should have went with, rather than family and death. What did Bond really accomplish or learn for all his running around and blowing stuff up? There's a real sense of futility to these films. Bond taking down Spectre only to realize the world needs Spectre and he has to help rebuild it, there's the shocking twist you're after.

Watched it on Amazon last nite. Not too bad bu noticed during the end credits "James Bond will be back" how did he survive that missile strike?
