So this movie is : a female 007 telling James Bond : stand back I'll handle this..
May as well

shareThey have tried the "strong woman" thing more than once now, even way before that became a trend in PC Hollywood circles, and it never worked out well. Bond's kickass female sidekicks in TND and DAD are some of the worst aspects of those films. I don't expect Lashana Lynch to do any better in this role.
shareThey did it right Licence to Kill.
sharePam Bouvier was an undercover agent and she was pretty bad ass for a Bond girl. She even got pissed that she has to be Bond's secretary. She helped bond a lot in this movie, but we never got "Stay in your lane". Gross.
shareNot only did she help him (and save his life), Bond never had to alter his course once to rescue her. He did for both "strong women" in TND and DAD. I bet you he'll even save the "new 007" in this movie too....

Gotta admit I found Pam Bouvier a little obnoxious.

And Bond has nothing to say, other than Uhhhh, okay.
No more snappy comebacks for Bond. At least, if he's talking to a woman.
