Last scene - Saligman's penis

I am asking myself if there is a reason for the last scene where we are shown for a few moments the uncircumcised penis of Saligman. He is a jew, so he was supposed to be circumcised (although he mentions he and his parents were anti-zionists). Could it be that he lied from the beginning and she sees this detail and, apart form the fact that she is about to be raped, acts more violently killing him ?

Not so much in Europe.

I think the real answer is that that was Stellan Skarsgard's real penis (it looked like the one he flops out in Breaking The Waves anyway) and he is uncircumcised. I don't think it's that important.
