I enjoyed it

Not the first time I've disagreed with critics.

Pretty fun movie if you're into the Lord of the Rings type fantasy genre. Goblins, dwarves, an ice queen riding a polar bear, Hemsworth with a sword....works for me! It certainly did not bore me. Typical quest story but I like those.

If you're in the right mood and not expecting Hamlet it's not a bad way to fritter away a rainy afternoon. I did like the forest scene with the beautiful light and all the creatures and critters moving around. I'm a fan of whoever put that scene together. Too bad it only lasted a couple of minutes.

I liked it too, much better than the first movie. The first one was just dragged down by Stewart's emotionless face that did not make me like Snow White at all. I was rooting for Ravenna!

But the problem with this movie is that it came too late. Sure, I was interested in the Huntsman's story and what happened to his wife, why are there even people called huntsmen..... but people have even shorter attention spans now -- even though they had a great trailer and marketing campaign. It also didn't help that it's release date was sandwiched between BvS and Captain America.
