Must I see the first one?
I haven't seen the first one. Do I have to see it to enjoy this one?

It stands well on it's own and gives you any details you would need from the first one in this. The enjoyment for it is probably enhanced by seeing the first but it's not required to understand and enjoy this one.
shareI only got up to the scene were the Huntsman was introduced in the 1st movie. I just couldn't connect with the movie so i turned it off. If this sequel is supposed to be different & good, but it just couldn't find an audience at the box office, I'm more likely to watch this and thwn maybe try to finish the 1st movie.

They make a resumé for like 60 seconds of the whole film and it's enough ! I truly hate with passion the first one, and not just because of Kristen Stewart bad acting, but because it is truly a mess and a fked up story at times. This one does not take too seriously and it's pure fantasy adventure fun !!
