High Card Takes All Game

Can anyone explain the single draw 'High Card Takes All' game that Nicky (Will Smith) played with Liyuan (BD Wong) out of desperation at the Football game? I mean Liyuan only drew a 'two of Clubs' (which I thought meant he couldn't possibly win because no card is lower than a 2 of any suit) and Nicky drew a '3 of hearts'. Doesn't that mean Nicky won ?

It was a five of clubs. (Although it was shown on screen for a very brief moment, and I had to pause the movie to actually count the clubs)

Thanks for that elpresidente. I just looked at that scene again on an online streaming of the movie and it appears that Liyuan did in fact have a Five of clubs as you said. That solves that little confusion.
