Speaking of everyone in the cemetery voting - about a week or two ago, I read that in NC they have something like 79 people who are 100 years or older shown as registered voters! Maybe we should all move there, sounds like there's something special in their water that makes so many people live to over 100.

People stay on voting rolls until removed. I had to ask my county to stop sending renewals for my mother who has been dead 20 years. No one ever voted in her name.

You hear about how great Japan is for longevity. A few years ago they decided to honor the huge number over 100 and found most were dead. Most places have no cross reference between death and voting records.

Here, most dead people reported as living is because their family is ripping off their social security benefits from direct deposits to their bank account. You don't even have to forge granny's check. These people cared nothing about voting.
