Daniel Craig's negative comments impacted on SPECTRE's box office?

“Producers think that ungracious comment, right before the release of Spectre, cost them tens of millions at the box office. They’re ready to forget about Daniel.”

You can't believe everything you read on the internet - this may not be accurate - but it's quite a revealing claim! Daniel Craig said he'd rather slit his wrists than play Bond again. The tone suggested he was a bit ungrateful or dismissive of the role.

He's not ungracious. The man spent two years on this film. It's tiring being involved in something this massive for that long. He was basically saying he was tired. And in interview after interview, everyone kept asking him the same question. The man simply didn't want to think about doing another one at the moment. He actually compared it to running a marathon. He said and i quote "when you've just finished a marathon, and someone asks you right afterwards wether you want to train for another Marathon". He puts it well into perspective that he's burned out. And he has every right to be, he's 47. I want him to do another one, but i can see why he feels so tired. I think everyone took his comment a bit out of context.
