Torture sequence

I heard Blofeld was originally supposed to have Bond restrained to a chair and in a room with a glass roof that when the sun came up, the temperature would rise and Bond would be burned alive. How would that have turned out?

reply

Bond would've been burned alive!!! No, wait, he probably wouldn't have.

reply

How would he get out of this one?

reply

Use his watch to reflect the lethal sunlight in a way that destroys his bonds, allowing him to scramble away at the last possible second, but still get a severe suntan.

The drill is more agonizing for the victim, especially because Blofield explained how it can be used to slowly mess up a person's memory and consciousness the deeper it goes.

reply

Good idea.

reply

Nothing - including the drill and intense sunlight - can be as torturous as listening to Oberhauser say he is in fact, Ernst Stavro Blofeld.
