shareHe's appearing as a supporting character's supporting character's supporting character. He'll probably be given nothing to do. Which with the way the writing has been going is probably a saving grace. But it'll suck going from a great main role like Billy Bones to a bit player.

Ah, ok, but I beg to differ.
He may be playing a BIT role, but "Black Sails" itself is a BIT show compared to "Game of Thrones." How many people know about this pirate show? And now Tom Hopper will be in an even bigger show, with bigger exposure.
I don't know him personally, but I bet when they called him up to ask him to do a little something on freaking Game of mother-effing Thrones, the last thing on his mind was, "pfft! What a waste!"
Bit role but I'm glad he's got it and I hope he kills with it.
His Game of Thrones character dies in this season, so it's definitely only a small part.
Tom Hopper should have been one of the leads in the new season/reboot of Strike Back..
