Could have been half as long

There was an awful lot of fluff here. The same slow motion video of Actor Bernie walking towards the camera over and over as the narrators slowly walked through the details.

Come to think of it, lots of documentaries are stretched out like this. It's too bad.

You could probably watch the last two episodes and get about 90% of the story.

Haven't seen this yet but I wonder if it's as good as the Madoff movie, The Wizard Of Lies. Has anyone seen both?

reply

The Wizard Of Lies never claimed the goyim as the root cause.
This documentary opens up regarding that the white man is blame. Ie more realistic.

My main problem was the choice of victims interviewed. They all looked like they were still well off in life, just somewhat less now. There are no victims that are like actually poor? They mention people in their 70's working at Wallmart instead of being in retirement, but they don't seem to interview anyone in such a situation.

I mean sure going from rich living in a mansion down to a upper middle class must be a bummer for that person but I don't really see it as a great tragedy.

In general they could have explored more the impact on the victims, as well as finding better ones to interview.

Poor people don´t usually invest in stock.

But the claim is some people lost "everything".
