I wonder, if there was no streaming, they'd only get residuals from DVD/Blu-rays, no? Because before streaming, you could just torrent the crap and they'd get no residuals, period. Only difference is the company would earn money from streaming and actors get tiny bits. I think it's a way for companies to earn back some lost cost from those that infringe.
