It's probably been discussed but do you think they would continue it without Piper ? her sentence wasn't that long And will be up sometime soon ,unless they make it fully fictional and she gets a harsh extension. I think it really could go on without her not that I don't like her but almost everyone else are just as interesting or more so for that matter

at this point i would be surprised if she ever got out. hell only reason she hasnt been shived yet is cause shes a mary sue and thus completely unkillable

Piper is the character that I started watching for and when the character leaves I think it's time to call it quits.

Yeh it probably could but I hope not.. I love Piper. The character as we all know is a selfish bitch that we all dislike but I just find her funny to watch.. she keeps doing the same thing bad things wrong and to be honest it's very relatable as a lot of people I know continue to do the same bad things over and over. I also love the actress who plays Piper.. underrated I think because of people's hatred for the character. She pulls off being annoying, funny, angry.. and her emotional scenes are always top notch.

shareNah , it can easily carry on without her. i have never seen anything more "loosley based" on real events. Her name and crime - thats about it. They could easily carry on without her. Although there is nothing on the net about them doing so , so i think they've called it quits.
Could it continue? Absolutely. But because it’s inspired by events in Piper Kerman’s life, and that’s what sold Netflix on the idea, I doubt they ever even considered the idea.
